ENO online singing competitionFancy yourself as a bit of a diva? Like singing, but could do with a bit of professional help and advice? Try the ENO´s online singing lesson. Acclaimed soprano Janis Kelly will be putting you through your vocal paces with a bit of help from well-known singing celebrity Kwame Kwei-Armah (actor, playwright and Celebrity Fame Academy contestant). After brushing up your singing skills you can submit your own La bohème aria to the ENO judges. The Top 5 will appear on this site and be open to a public vote. The winner will be treated to La bohème tickets in their own private box, with champagne to toast their success. Puccini´s La bohème is one of the world´s most popular and captivating operas. With its emotionally charged story of two star-crossed lovers and some of Puccini's most ravishingly beautiful music, La bohème will enthral you. Operas at ENO are sung and surtitled in English, so following the story is easy. Synopsis La bohème is Puccini´s fourth opera, and follows the lives and loves of a group of bohemian artists. These young men and women spend most of their time trying to earn enough to live on - and falling in love. |
