Wanted! The Scream Team

The London Dungeons is looking to appoint a 'Scream Team' - a mini board of directors to put their goriest and scariest business thoughts into practice and come up with whacky ideas for this ghoulish London attraction. They're looking for 15 boys and girls aged between 11 and 15 with an eye for all things gruesome. Those selected will be required to attend three meetings in the Dungeon per year and will receive a range of gory goodies and complimentary family tickets with VIP tours of the London Dungeon throughout the year.

Entrants will need to write the introductory paragraph to a scary story or draw a scary picture. The competition deadline is 30th September and the winner will be announced during the October half term.

Meeting three times a year, you as part of the 'Scream Team - mini board of directors' will join London Dungeon executives to brainstorm, discuss and dream up weird and wonderful ideas of how the Dungeon could be made even better. Your opinions, what you like and what you don't like and what to want to see changed will all be taken into consideration.

Open to boys and girls aged between 11-15 years, you will be required to attend meetings in October half term, Easter holiday and summer holiday, must be confident in partaking in group discussions and have a passion for all things scary! (The first meeting is scheduled to take place during the October half term holiday).

As part of the 'Scream Team' you will get complimentary family tickets throughout the year, VIP tours of the London Dungeon and receive goody bags stuffed full of toys, scary costumes, stationary and sweets at each of your meetings. But most of all, your voice will be heard and ideas implemented to help make sure the London Dungeon remains the scariest attraction in the UK!

Either write the introductory paragraph to a scary story or draw a scary picture. It doesn't have to be real and can be as wacky as you like! Please also send confirmation of your age, home address and home telephone number.

T&Cs:

1. This competition is open to all UK residents aged between 11-15 years old. except employees and their immediate families of London Dungeon.
2. All entrants must obtain a parent's or guardian's signature on entering the competition.
3. Only one entry per household
4. Promoter is not responsible for any entries lost, damaged or delayed in the post. Proof of posting is not accepted as proof of receipt.
5. The prize will include a position on the scream team for one year (attending three meetings, between October '06 and August '07, precise dates tbc), a goody bag at each meeting and four complimentary family entry tickets per year. No cash alternative/s will be offered. [The prizes may differ slightly from those detailed]. In the unlikely event of circumstances beyond its control, the promoter reserves the right to replace the prizes with alternatives of equal or greater value.
6. The winners will be those deemed by the judges to have written the best scary story or drawn the best scary picture. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. The winner/s will be notified by post within 14 days of the closing date.
8. Travel expenses to and from meetings will be paid for by the London Dungeon and winners will be provided with food and refreshments at each meeting.
9. Entries will not be returned; they and the copyright in them will become the property of London Dungeon. Winners must partake in any publicity required by the promoter.
10. Entry instructions form part of the terms and conditions, and participation in this competition means acceptance of these terms and conditions.
