A star-studded cast, the festive season, songs galore, a classic story of rags to riches and a kung-fu kitty makes Dick Whittington at the Barbican the perfect Christmas treat for everyone.

Family comedy favourites, Roger Lloyd Pack and Sam Kelly star as panto dame Sarah the Cook and Alderman Fitzwarren. Roger is well-known for his roles in the nation's best-loved TV comedies - Only Fools and Horses as "Trigger", "Owen" in The Vicar Of Dibley as well as his role as "Barty Crouch" in the Harry Potter film series and acclaimed productions at the National Theatre, the Royal Court and in the West End. Sam Kelly's celebrated comedy roles include Porridge and 'Allo 'Allo and his theatre career includsed famous productions such as A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum at the National Theatre and The Two Ronnies at the Palladium.

Joining in the fun are a chocolate box of exciting young stars. Summer Strallen dons the boots as Dick fresh from her triumph from Regent's Park's The Boyfriend, and Danny Worters, the lead in the National Theatre's recent smash hit, Market Boy plays Jack. Caroline Sheen will play the beautiful Alice, Debbie Chazen waves her magic wand as Fairy BowBells, First Mate Port will be played by Toby Sedgwick who is also the Movement Director, and Miles Jupp, loved as Archie from Balamory is First Mate Lemon.
