picnic sites in LondonRemember that many of the London Museums have an indoor picnic room where you can eat your own lunch if the weather isn't great. Although many of the parks don't necessarily have a designated picnic area, if there is grass or a bench, then you have your own picnic site. The last thing you want to do is be lugging around a load of heavy bags all day so consider leaving your picnic bag at a museum cloakroom until you need it. A printed sandwich bag is an easy way to identify all those different sandwiches you end up making for fuss-pot family members. These bags come in a variety of prints so everyone can have their own! A grab bag can be packed with an individual picnic and everyone can carry their own in their own back pack - if they have eaten all their food by 11am - tough! A can top sealer means that the whole can contents doesn't have to be drunk in one go - you can keep some for later. Little children and ice creams usually mean a drippy, sticky, wasp attracting mess. Keep a pack of disposable bibs in your bag for those "ice cream moments".
