London Children's Film Festival
18-26 November 2006 The festival is presented by the Barbican and the Independent Cinema Office in partnership with Film London, taking place in 15 cinemas across London. The 15 festival venues are the Barbican Centre, four Cineworlds (Feltham, Shaftesbury Avenue, Wandsworth and Wood Green), the Cine Lumiere (South Kensington), the David Lean (Clocktower, Croydon), the Genesis (Whitechapel), the Greenwich Picturehouse, the ICA (Westminster), the Phoenix (East Finchley), the Rich Mix (Bethnal Green), the Rio (Dalston), the Ritzy (Brixton) and the Tricycle (Kilburn). Look out for the best new cinema for children and young people from around the world, previews of the latest films yet to be released in the UK, gala screenings and special events, classics from the archives, the winner of the First Light Young Jury Film Prize, hands-on workshops and an exciting schools' programme. |
